BakCell supported the next project aimed at increasing the level of employment and entrepreneurship skills among young people living under the guardianship of the Association “Children’s Villages SOS Azerbaijan”. The main task of the project is to help young people deprived of parental custody integrate into the labor market by increasing social entrepreneurship skills.
Project participants, divided into 6 teams, took part in trainings and seminars on topics such as Timbulting (Construction of the Team), “The goals of the Sustainable Development of the UN” and “Participation of Youth”.
Also, within the framework of the project, the participants were given the opportunity to increase the level of knowledge and skills in the field of social entrepreneurship. For this, a 5-day camp was organized in the Hussarsky district on the topic “Social Entrepreneurship and Building Business”. At the next stage, young people, with the support of mentors, will prepare their business projects and present them to the jury. The most successful projects of social entrepreneurship will receive financial support for implementation.
It should be noted that Bakcell has been supporting children and youth from low -income families since 2009, and children devoid of parental guardianship, as part of cooperation with the Azerbaijan Children’s Village Association. The project “Start and improve your business”, implemented together with the Association, became the laureate of the National Prize of the CSR “Milli KSM Mükafatı 2018” in the nomination “Project of the year to support young entrepreneurs.” The project was aimed at carrying out business ideas of young people living under the patronage of the association, and graduates of other boarding schools of the country.
