Failure to comply with international organizations facing their obligations is one of the main problems. This was stated by Assistant President Azerbaijan Hikmet Gadzhiev at a panel meeting of the XI Global Baku Forum.
Gadzhiev noted that the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) encourages Islamophobia, and also demonstrates a prejudice position in relation to Azerbaijan.
According to him, Azerbaijan makes efforts so that the South Caucasus becomes free from conflicts. The presidential assistant indicated that Azerbaijan brought stability to the region of the South Caucasus. “Everyone is witnesses of warming of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations,” he said.
He emphasized that Azerbaijan conscientiously fulfills its obligations and seeks to extend the experience of the South Caucasus to other regions of the world.
Hikmet Gadzhiev added that with his initiatives Azerbaijan “will contribute to the restoration of the fragmented world”.
