In Baku, the 11th session of the ministers of tourism of the Islamic Conference countries began work. According to Haqqin.az his own correspondent, before the event, the head of the Azerbaijani Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev read out a letter from Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the conference participants.
The President highly appreciated the position of the Islamic conference in supporting the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. He noted that between the countries of the organization. Successful cooperation in the field of tourism is carried out. Three years before the pandemic of Covid, more than 3 million tourists from the member countries of the organization visited Azerbaijan.
The religious and cultural proximity of our peoples, developed tourist infrastructure, hospitality of the Azerbaijani people, political stability makes Azerbaijan attractive to tourists from around the world.
The session will be selected by the new composition of the organization’s office and the chairmanship will go to Azerbaijan. The forum will continue to work on a closed meeting of ministers of tourism.
