Distortion Once again of the historical truth about the events of 1915 in the statement of US President Joseph Biden causes regret, they said on Sunday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
In the report posted on the website of the Azerbaijani foreign policy, the message in connection with the presentation of the US President on the occasion of the anniversary of the events of 1915 states that attempts to distort the events of centenary limitations and by politicization to include in the agenda the so-called “genocide” is unacceptable. The US presidential statement is also incompatible with the ongoing negotiations between Turkey and Armenia on the normalization of relations, noted in the Foreign Ministry.
The statement also states that historians should be engaged in 1915, and not politicians: “Invalid attempts to falsify history, its use for the purpose of political pressure.”
