Bayramov: peace process is important for Yerevan

Armenia is evading peaceful negotiations, Foreign Minister Jahun Bayramov told reporters.

According to him, Azerbaijan initiated a peaceful agenda and aimed at continuing negotiations.

“Questions to Yerevan. Armenia should understand that the promotion of the peace process for her is no less important than for Azerbaijan. And if Yerevan does not understand this, then this is a visual demonstration of a very very erroneous policy,” said the Foreign Minister. /p>

Bayramov noted that Armenia refused to participate in negotiations in Moscow, that “also brought the negotiation process to a dead end”: “This is another example of Yerevan’s irresponsible policy, his inconsistent steps.”

According to the head of the foreign policy, Azerbaijan is still committed to negotiations.

“We are ready for the speedy meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia,” the minister said.
