Foreign Minister Jahun Bayramov met with the leaders of the diplomatic member of the EU member countries, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
At the meeting, Bayramov spoke about the role of Azerbaijan in the energy diversification of Europe, in particular about the doubling of gas supplies to the EU, as well as the expansion of cooperation in the development of alternative energy sources. He also spoke about the wide energy potential of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and the implementation of a number of projects for the effective use of this potential.
Speaking about cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU in the field of investment, Jaykhun Bayramov said that Azerbaijan is always committed to the obligations under signed agreements.
The Foreign Minister also spoke about the role of Azerbaijan in the East-West transport corridor, emphasizing in this regard that the steps taken by Azerbaijan in the direction of launching the Zangezur corridor are pushed into the unconstructive position of Armenia.
