Belarusian military will bring down foreign aircraft in case of violation of the border. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Krenin in an interview with Russia 24 TV channel.
Commenting on the increase in the NATO military aviation near the borders of the republic, Khrenin indicated that the air defense forces would bring down the aircraft if the brakes are “lost” by opponents, the Belarusian media reported on Thursday, February 22.
The head of the department noted that since August last year there have been six violations of the state border, to which Belarus reacts by raising combat aircraft and preparing anti-aircraft missile forces.
“Unfortunately, only from August last year, six violations of the state border occurred. We are responding to all violations. When necessary – our military aviation rises, the anti -aircraft missile forces are given in accordance with the degree of readiness … If completely lost brakes from their The parties, of course, we will shoot down, we won’t stand on ceremony, ”said Viktor Khrenin.
In the event that violators do not stop their actions, Belarus will use force and knock them down without an extra ceremony, the minister added.
