Belarus begins exercises near borders of Ukraine and Poland

In Belarus on Thursday, May 26, military exercises will start near the borders of Poland and Ukraine. This was announced by the chairman of the executive committee of the city Brest Alexander Rogachuk, calling the planned maneuvers “the next stage in the response forces for response power.”

“As part of the completion of the tasks, the actions of the landing units in urban conditions with the overcoming of the water barrier will be carried out,” Rogachuk said.

Also, landing units will go to the Brest training ground to solve further problems.

Ukrainian media notes that the Brest training ground is located almost 40 km from the border of Ukraine and about 30 km from the border with Poland.
