From September 1 to 6, a joint operational-strategic teaching “Battle Brotherhood-2023” will be held in Belarus. BelTA was reported to the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
In the general plan of the exercise, joint and special exercises are planned, which include the preparation of various components of the troops (collective forces) of the CSTO.
The exercises will take part in the collective forces of the operational response of the CSTO, the forces and intelligence agencies of the Armed Forces of the CSTO member states, the forces of the material and technical support of the CSTO troops, as well as the joint formation of radiation, chemical, biological protection and medical support of the CSTO.
The exercises will be held at the landfills and areas of the area of the Brest, Grodno and Minsk regions.
From August 25 to 29, participants in the joint and special teachings of the CSTO will regroup in Belarus.
In addition, from September 1 to 6, Belarus will take place in nuclear and radiation safety with rescue divisions of the SKALA-2023 CSTO member states, the CSTO press service reports.
According to the Belarusian Minister of Emergencies Vadim Sinyavsky, during the exercise it is planned to work out the liquidation of the accident at a nuclear facility.
The main theme of the “rock” is an accident at a nuclear facility with the use and deployment of the forces of the CSTO EMERCOM. Rescuers will also work out the issues of interaction with executive authorities and military administration.
Belarusians warned of the movement of special equipment of the Ministry of Emergencies and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Ostrovovet district, where the Belarusian nuclear power plant is located.
As specified in the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies, the participation of teams from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan is expected to participate.
