Minsk is ready to expose 500 thousand reservists “in the case of necessity”, said the Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Hrenin.
“The military department, if necessary, can put up a resource of 500 thousand military servants, and we are talking about a prepared reserve,” said Khrenin.
According to him, over the past 20 years, 130 thousand people have passed through mobilization fees that are carried out constantly. He clarified that in Belarus there is no need to create a contract army, since 60% of military personnel are already contractors.
