Belarusian border guards fired by Polish military

Belarusian border guards fired by the Polish military, patrolling the border, reports Wydarzenia with reference to the press secretary of the Polish border guard Anna Mishalsk.

It is noted that the patrol of Belarusian services fired by the soldiers of the Polish army by idle cartridges, but according to Mission, the shots were intended. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.

In early August, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko instructed the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of the country to strengthen the protection on the southern and western borders of Belarus to prevent its intersection with illegal migrants.

In the summer of Lithuania, Poland and Belarus, the number of illegal migrants has sharply increased dramatically. It happened after Lukashenko announced that Minsk would not hold back their stream. The appropriate statement was made after the introduction of sanctions by the European Union due to the forced landing of the Ryanair aircraft with the opposition Roman Protasevich on board.
