Belgium filed lawsuit against von der Layen

Belgian lobbyist sued the chairman of the European Commission Ursulu von der Layen.

According to local media, lobbyist Frederick Baldan, who is also accredited in EU institutions, filed a lawsuit with the demand to publish the correspondence of von der Lyaine with the head of the American pharmaceutical company Pfizer Albert Burley.

Against von der Lyaine can be charged with “abuse of official position”, “destruction of official documents”, “obtaining illegal benefits”, “corruption”.

The EU commission purchased a large amount of vaccines from some manufacturers of drugs and vaccines during coronavirus pandemia. The largest contract for the supply of vaccines was concluded with PFIZER-BIONTECH.

It soon became known about personal correspondence between EC President Ursula von der Lyain and the head of Pfizer Albert Burlley.

EU authorities refused to release the text of the correspondence between von der Lyain and Burlley.
