US will expand its military presence in the territory of the NATO Union countries and will help strengthen the defensive potential of Ukraine in the case of the “attack” by Russia, the American president of Joe Biden said, RIA Novosti reports.
He told reporters that in the course of the online meeting with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin outlined the consequences of the realization of the Russian invasion plans to the neighboring country, which in Moscow had refuted many times.
“We may also have to grow our presence in NATO countries … In addition, I made it clear that we will provide Ukrainians defensive means,” said Biden. He added that he warned mainly about the economic consequences whom the Russian colleague “never saw”.
