US President Joe Biden will be ready to contact the head of the Russian state Vladimir Putin if he concludes that Moscow has interest in resolving the situation in Ukraine.
“I am ready to speak with Putin if he really has an interest in finding a way to put an end to the war. So far I do not see this,” the Russian media quoted Biden.
The head of the White House noted that “if there is interest, then I will be glad to sit down at the negotiating table after consultations with France and with friends on NATO.”
The American leader said that in the near future he does not plan contacts with the Russian president.
