Bloomberg: Three months later, Russian planes will have to be disassembled for spare parts

Western sanctions hit the Russian aircraft industry, in particular, on its flagship Aeroflot company. According to Bloomberg, the vast majority of more than 350 airlines of the airline are Airbus and Boeing models, which are faced with an impending shortage of components.

After the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the European Union demanded the return of aircraft taken by Russian airlines.

In Russia, the seizure of rented commercial aircraft was authorized, and Aeroflot in a short time stopped all international flights, except for flights to Belarus, under the threat of aircraft arrest. Since then, he resumed flights to 13 countries, compared with 56 countries before the war, switching to internal routes.

Another problem is a lack of components for foreign production aircraft, such as Airbus and Boeing. According to experts, Aeroflot details will be enough for the next three months, after which you will have to disassemble part of the aircraft to use their components.
