Official Representative of the US State Department Chris Landberg said that Iran is the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism.
“Iran-supported grouping in Syria, Iraq and Yemen continue to carry out dangerous and destabilizing activities in the Middle East and around the world. He also noted that ISIL continues to grow and remains a threat to the United States.
“The global presence of ISIL continues to grow, despite the complete liberation of the territories they once controlled in Iraq and Syria. The terrorists of ISIL continue to remain a constant threat to the United States and their allies,” the State Department spokesman said.
