Border guards did not allow large batch of drugs to Azerbaijan

On the evening of January 20, in the service territory of the border outpost located near the village of Shukurbeili, the Dzhelilsky district, the Goradiz border troops of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan prevented the smuggling of drugs from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the press center of the State Border Service said.

As a result of the border inspection and operational measures on the territory near the Azraz River, two parcels were found, in which there were 13.3 kg of drugs (9 kg and 880 grams of marijuana, 3 kg and 250 grams of opium and 2 thousand tablets of psychotropic substance “methadone M-40”).
