Boris Johnson made a tightening of sanctions against Russia

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson made a tightening of sanctions against Russia, for example, in the field of banks’ activities or restricting them to access SWIFT system.

“We must admit that you have to do more in the sphere of sanctions. We can do more, and have to do it,” he said on Monday on TV channel Sky News.

“The world can make more in the [Disconnection from the SWIFT system], in the banking sector, you need to make more in dissemination of sanctions on individuals,” said Johnson.

The British Prime Minister noticed that “it should not turn into a common feeling that we are against Russians that any Russian who lives in the UK, any Russian who contributes to the British society must be under suspicion.”
