This is one of the largest compensation on the claims of sexual violence in the history of the United States. Money will be paid by more than 60 thousand plaintiffs who were rapid by representatives of BSA.

Earlier it was reported that the total number of lawsuits against BSA due to cases of sexual violence reached 90 thousand.

In February 2020, BSA filed a bankruptcy application due to numerous lawsuits from victims of sexual violence. The organization stated that the bankruptcy procedure began to form a cash fund to pay compensation and at the same time continue its work.
