Britain continues import of Russian oil

Despite the restrictions on oil supplies from Russia to the UK, the United Kingdom imported products to hundreds of millions of pounds, reports The Times.

In Russia, loopholes were found in British restrictions on the supply of oil products. The Russian ship “Manner III” with almost 200,000 barrels of oil in the holds in May was in the Mediterranean Sea. After 5 days at sea, the tanker was fastened to the Greek ship Marinoula, which pumped all the oil. It took 36 hours. After that, the Greek tanker went to the British Lincolnshire. And on June 6, the port unloaded 250 thousand barrels of oil.

The publication emphasizes that this situation is only one of 39 fixed cases when Russian oil got into Britain anonymous. In total, from March, oil has arrived in the UK totaling 778 million pounds, of which some came from June to July.
