Britain: prices for gasoline beat records after anti-Russian sanctions

The cost of gasoline in the UK overcame the mark of 1.5 pounds ($ 2 dollars) per liter, which was the highest in the entire history of statistics in the country, the GUARDIAN newspaper reported with reference to the sectoral study, reports TASS.

According to experts, in the coming weeks, the cost of gasoline can grow to 1.6 pounds per liter ($ 2.1 dollars), although two years ago the price was at the level of 1 pound per liter. Thus, at the full refueling of the 55-liter car now in the United Kingdom will leave up to 85 pounds ($ 114 dollars).

Analysts note that the consequences of political tensions due to the situation around Ukraine will greatly hit the well-being of the British, especially with regard to and so high inflation.
