British intelligence: third of new budget of Russia will amount to military expenses

Intelligence of the British Ministry of Defense studied the new federal budget of Russia, signed on December 5 by President Vladimir Putin.

The needs of the Russian military, special services and the police in 2023 allocated 9 trillion rubles ($ 143 billion). This is a significant growth compared to last year and approximately 30% of the total budget, analysts of the British Ministry of Defense noted.

They also consider the expenditure and revenue parts of the budget excessively optimistic, and believe that the load on the non -combat parts of the budget, apparently, will significantly increase to get funds to continue the Ukrainian campaign.
