British media: Macron crossed red line

Having decided to transfer the AMX-10 RC wheels to Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron crossed the Red Line, writes The Daily Telegraph.

As notes the publication, the French president overtook the leaders of the United States, Great Britain and Germany, who had not yet decided to supply such armored vehicles to Ukraine. Thus, France now “intercepts the initiative of assistance to Ukraine from Britain.”

Commenting on the New Year’s appeal of Macron, in which he promised to help Ukraine win, The Daily Telegraph concludes that in the rhetoric of the French president there was a cardinal change and suggests that this is due to the fact that the French president allegedly does not consider it possible to negotiate with Russia.
