Building next to synagogue in New York was evacuated due to illegal tunnel

The authorities of New York evacuated the inhabitants of the building located next to the synagogue, where the illegally dug underground tunnel was discovered.

Police officers continue to investigate the incident with illegal tunnels. Questions about why the tunnels were secretly dug under the synagogue still remain unanswered.

Earlier, during the police raid to the Synagogue of the Jewish organization Chabad Lubavitch, located in the Brooklyn Khights quarter, illegally dug tunnels were discovered under the building.

The local authorities decided to block the tunnels, and a car with cement came to the synagogue. A group of Jews protested the decision of the authorities.
