Bulgaria: Lukoil was fined Lukoil

The competition for the protection of competition (KZK) fined Lukoil-Bolgaria by almost 68 million leftists (about 34 million euros) for abuse of its dominant position in the Bulgarian market.

“KZK spent 67 million 771 thousand 454 Lukoil -Bolgaria left for the perfect violation of the competition of competition, expressed in the abuse of the dominant position through price pressure on competitors in the field of wholesale fuel trade in the country,” the statement said.

It is noted that “Lukoil-Bolgaria” owns more than half the market and is the leader of wholesale trade in motor fuel.

The decision of the KZK can be appealed in the administrative court of the Sofia region within 14 days. The company “Lukoil-Bolgaria” stated that they would take this opportunity.

“The company does not agree with the decision of the KZK, and will take advantage of its right to appeal it to the court, and take all measures to protect its interests.
