The Bulgarian government as part of the humanitarian aid program will allocate more than $ 4.5 million for Ukrainian refugees.
According to BTA Bulgarian news agency with reference to the government’s press service, the Cabinet has already approved the appropriate assistance package.
According to the International Migration Organization (MOM), 1 million 653 thousand Ukrainians are in Bulgaria, more than 165 thousand of them received the status of “temporary protection”.
