Cabinet: Wearing a mask in personal cars is not required

Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan No. 151 of May 26, 2021 canceled the requirement of mandatory use of individual means of protecting the respiratory tract outdoors.

As reported in the Cabinet of Ministers, in accordance with the legislation, with the exception of vehicles used in long-distance (interdistrict) and intracity passenger transport (bus, taxis, metro, railway, etc.), the use of a medical mask in private cars Not required.

According to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 189 of May 29, 2020, in the following cases, individual means of protecting the respiratory tract should be used (medical mask, tissue mask, respirator, etc.), subject to the social distance (distance between people 1, 5-2 meters):

– in vehicles used for long-distance (interdistrict) and intracity passenger transport (bus, taxi, metro, railway, etc.);

– in closed markets, closed catering facilities, trade and service (except when it is necessary to remove individual respiratory tract protection tools);

– in the premises of government agencies (institutions) intended for the reception of citizens and servicing citizens;

– in rooms belonging to individuals and legal entities used to serve customers;

– in offices and industrial premises;

– in closed rooms, places of worship, institutions of science and health, social, cultural and other closed facilities, which are considered monuments of history and culture.
