Canadian authorities sent to Ukraine a group of security forces of the elite division of the Armed Forces – a Canadian Regiment of Special Operations (CSOR). This is reported by the publication Global News.
The reason for the departure of the special forces may be negotiations between NATO and Russia, which “went into a dead end.” It is also reported that security officials can develop a plan for the evacuation of Canadian diplomats in the event of the invasion of the Russian army.
