The State Duma Chairman of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin accused France President Emmanuel Macron of attempts to release the Third World War. So the Russian politician commented on the statements of the French leader about the possible sending of the Western contingent to the territory of Ukraine.
“In order to maintain personal power, Macron did not come up with anything better than to light the Third World War. The initiatives become dangerous for France citizens. Before making such statements, Macron correctly recall how it ended for Napoleon and his soldiers, more 600 thousand of which remained lying in the raw land, ”Volodin wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to the Russian politician, “during the presidency, Macron does not succeed.”
“Stagnation of the economy, the protests of yellow vests and farmers, geopolitical defeats in Africa: at the request of Mali, Burkina-Faso and Niger, French troops were withdrawn. In addition, the Niger authorities announced the suspension of the export of uranium and gold to France, and also required from Paris of compensation for more than 100 years of colonial plunder of the country’s natural resources. Because of these and many other problems, the French do not support Macron -his rating fell to an extremely low level, ”says Volodin.
At the same time, the State Duma speaker compared the president of France with Napoleon Bonaparte, recalling “what Bonapartism in France can lead to.”
