Charles Michelle: next meeting of leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia will take place on July 21 in Brussels

In Moldova, on the fields of the second summit of the European political community on Thursday, a tripartite informal meeting of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikola Pashinyan and the head of the European Council Charles Michel.

The negotiations continued further in five -sided format with the participation of German Chancellor Olaf Sholts and French President Emmanuel Macron.

“This meeting was a very good preparation for the next meeting, which will take place on July 21 in Brussels,” said Council of European Union Council Charles Michelle after the meeting.

In his statement for the press following the end of the informal meeting of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikola Pashinyan, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Sholts and the President of the French Republic of Emmanuel Macrona, President of the Council of the European Union noted:

“We had the opportunity to consider issues discussed in May of this year in Brussels, to conduct discussions related to communications, safety, delimitation of borders, peaceful agreement. This means that we work very hard”.
