Turkey has not yet seen from Finland and Sweden specific steps that allow them to approve their applications for joining NATO.
The head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry of the Foreign Ministry of the Turkish Foreign Ministry in Tallinn made this statement.
“We have not yet seen the specific steps of the two countries, especially Sweden that would convince us and dispel our fears regarding our security. There is a protocol that three countries (Turkey, Finland and Sweden – Ed.) Signed in Madrid (in June 2022). We are waiting for the fulfillment of the obligations assigned to it, ”he said.
