Turkey never joins the sanctions unilaterally, this is the fundamental policy of our country.
According to APA, this was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu.
He noted that Turkey can simply join the UN sanctions. Chavushoglu added that a dialogue is needed not only between Russia and Ukraine, but also between Russia and the West.
Stressing the importance of restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the minister noted that “it is difficult to discuss if a constant ceasefire is not ensured.”
