This morning, the United Kingdom introduced personal sanctions against two hundred citizens of Russia, including Putin’s president and businessmen close to him. Among them, Roman Abramovich – and it immediately hit the Chelsea football club, which he owns since 2003.
The club is paralyzed by any financial activity: it cannot sell tickets, enter into or extend contracts with players. Even cluster shop with attributes closed. It is not yet known whether soccer players, trainers and staff will be able to receive salary. This is reported by the Air Force.
In the last days, Roman Abramovich actively tried to sell Chelsea, buyers with proposals were, but the parties did not agree. Now the United Kingdom authorities insist that Abramovich receive money from this transaction. However, earlier the businessman himself and so said that he planned the revenue tools to spend on charity projects in Ukraine.
