China brought to orbit satellite of remote sensing of Earth “Yaogan-33”

China carried out on Thursday the launch of the satellite of remote sounding of the Earth “Yaogan-33 03”.

According to the Chinese news agency Sinhua, the new Chinese satellite of the remote probing of the Earth was successfully launched from the cosmodrome of Tszyutsuan in the north-west of China.

Changzhen-4V launch vehicle (Long march-4c) with a satellite “Yaogan-33 03” on board started at 02:14 Peking time.

The spacecraft successfully reached the planned orbit.

The current launch was the 486th for the Changzhen series launch vehicles.

Satellites of this series are intended for scientific experiments, study of land resources, assessment of agricultural production, as well as to prevent and mitigate the consequences of natural disasters.

The launch of the satellite “Yaogan-33 01” took place on December 28, 2020, and the satellite “Yaogan-33 02”-September 3, 2022.

“Yaogan” translated from Chinese means “remote sounding.” Some Western sources suggest that the Yaogan class satellites are intended for military intelligence purposes and are controlled by the strategic support forces of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, which are responsible for space, cyberspace and electronic war.
