China calls for Russia and Ukraine to cease fire and start peace negotiations as soon as possible.
This was stated by a constant representative of China at the UN Zhang Jun, speaking at a meeting of the Security Council of the World Organization.
“We again urge Russia and Ukraine to cease fire, to proceed with peace negotiations as quickly as possible,” said the diplomat.
According to him, the USA, the European Union, NATO must also sit together with Russia at the negotiating table, “to conduct a comprehensive, deep dialogue based on the principle of indeed security indivisibility”.
“They should discuss how to create a balanced, effective and strong security architecture, achieve overall security,” said Zyun.
