China has suspended purchase of oil from Russia

Chinese companies temporarily stopped purchases of oil from Russia, which is delivered by the sea from the Far Eastern ports, reports Bloomberg.

According to the agency, the pause in the supply is necessary that the Chinese side can estimate the possible consequences of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. We are talking about problems associated with the refusal of a number of banks to discover letters of credit to buyers of Russian oil. Therefore, traders from China are waiting for a situation with supply financing.
