China’s leadership will preserve the unity of the country and will strictly suppress Taiwan’s attempts to isolate the island. This was stated by the official representative of the Taiwan Chancellery under the State Council of China Ma Xiaoguan, writes Xinhua News Agency.
“We will act decisively, harshly, we are staging attempts by supporters of the so -called independence of Taiwan, as well as the intervention of external forces,” he stressed.
Ma Xiaguan claims that China is counting on the support of Taiwanese “for the sake of a great future and unification of the reviving nation.”
“Separatists in Taiwan are a big barrier on the way of uniting the Motherland,” the official added. In his opinion, they are a “serious illness” that impedes the development of the country.
