The head of the PRC Xi Jinping called on the country’s military personnel to focus on preparing for military operations. His words from a speech at a conference on national defense and military reform in Beijing are quoted by the Sinhua agency.
The Chinese leader emphasized that in recent years the country’s army has undergone significant changes: now it has a new system, structure and military uniforms.
“It is necessary to conscientiously generalize and apply the successful experience of reforms, own a new situation and understand the requirements of tasks, focus on preparing for wars, and also have the courage to explore and introduce innovations,” said Xi Jinping.
