Chinese drone flew to Taiwan through an important Japanese strait

The military Chinese for the first time sent the intelligence-attendant drone of TB001 through the VB001 intelligence through the Strait between the Japanese islands of Ryukyu in the East Chinese Sea, reports The Japan Times.

Miyako Strait is important, since it is one of the few ways along which the Navy of the PRC can move from the East Chinese Sea to the Pacific Ocean.

The publication notes that the TB001 drone capable of flying to a distance of 6 thousand km, as well as carry rockets and controlled bombs, took a flight on July 25. The Japanese side did not record a violation of the airspace of Japan. The Ministry of Defense of Japan also lifted fighters into the air to observe the drone. The drone, passing the Strait of Miyako, flew to the east coast of Taiwan. Han Kuang is held on the island this week.
