Citizens Iran wanted to intimidate American voters

US accused Iranian hackers in interference in the presidential election, reports Associated Press.

It is noted that two Iranian hackers tried to intimidate American voters and undermine the confidence of the population in the fact that the election results can be trusted.

It is assumed that hackers used not only computer vulnerabilities, but also existing social differences to sow a discord among voters.

In particular, cyberpresses sent emails and distributed fake videos that allegedly demonstrate falsifications in the elections, and also tried the day after them to access the American media company network.

As accused of case, Citizens of Iran Seed Mohammad Hozein Musa Casemy and Sadzhad Kashian are held. The US Department of Finance has imposed sanctions against them, their colleagues and companies in which they worked.
