Court fined brick Bardo for insults of hunters

Court of the city of Arras (North of France) sentenced to a fine of five thousand euros French actress Brick Bardo for insulting the head of the National Hunter Federation Willy Shrairae, reports France press with reference to lawyers.

Also, the court ordered the actress to pay Schrah a thousand euros as compensation for damages and a thousand euros in compensation for court costs.

In October 2019, a publication appeared on the website of the Aid Assistance Foundation, in which the actress spoke about hunters as “about the shortcoming disgusting cowardice” and “animal terrorists”, mentioning the head of the hunters federation. The article is still available on the Fund website.

Actress, who was not present at the meeting, addressed a letter to the court. She recognized that he was the author of these statements that “may have been made in raw manner,” but in her opinion, they answer “for the concern of most French.”

The court ordered Bardo for 15 days should delete the article and all passages recognized as insulting and replace it with reference to the court order. In case of non-fulfillment for each day, the delay will be threatened to be a fine of 100 euros.
