The Police of India arrested seven young people who celebrated Pakistan’s victory over India in the Sunday match by cricket, reports Guardian.
As the Minister of State Uttar Pradesh said, the arrested are accused of incitement to rebellion and inciting hostility between denominations.
Another high-ranking politician of the Indian government said that the police would accept the most stringent measures against anyone who rejoices the defeat of India in the World Cricket Championship match, which passes these days in Dubai.
