In Dagestan, on the border with Azerbaijan, the mass death of mountain tours is recorded. According to the information of the Dagestan media, tours are massively dying in the southeastern part of the Tlyratinsky district. More than 60 dead individuals were found.
The situation caused serious concern in the republic and this issue, in particular, was discussed in the government under the leadership, Vrio Prime Minister Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov.
At the meeting under the government, the Dagestan director of the FGBU “The National Reserve” Dagestan “Kunban Kuniev reported that the territory of the reserve on which the tours were located, the employees of the FSBI, the management of Roselkhoznadzor as well as the branch of the Tlyratinsky Radi.
It was announced that during the death of animals in the territory there was a “avalanche-hazardous situation”, but the possibility of mass illness was also excluded.
It is noted that to determine the causes of the death of tours, samples of biological material are sent for examination. The situation also controls federal and regional specialized departments.
