Dania Foreign Minister apologized for burning Qur’an in Copenhagen

The Foreign Minister of Denmark Lars Lyokke Rasmussen apologized for the incidents with the burning of the Qur’an in front of the buildings of the diplomatic mission of Muslim countries in Copenhagen.

According to the Foreign Ministry of the Scandinavian country, Rasmussen held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria Ahmed Attaf.

Danish minister expressed regret in connection with incidents with burning the Book of the Koran for Muslims before the buildings of the diplomatic musias of Muslim countries, including Algeria.

Rasmussen called the burning of the Qur’an an unacceptable incident and apologized. According to him, such incidents completely contradict the traditions of the tolerance of the Danish society.

The politician also noted that the Denmark Government completes the work on the bill providing for a ban on such actions.
