“Delta” provoked a new outbreak of COVID in China

In China, the largest COVID-flash in the country is recorded, which is caused by the Delta strain. The authorities have introduced severe quarantine measures in the northeast city of Dalian, since over the past day, 32 new cases were registered in the region, Reuters writes.

From October 17 to November 14, 1,308 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in China, which exceeds the number of sicks due to the summer outbreak of the Delta strain. In some cities to contain the proliferation of coronavirus, the departure of citizens is limited.

Since the beginning of a pandemic in China, 98,315 cases of COVID-19 and 4,636 deaths are registered.
