Denmark first in Europe canceled COVID-19 restrictions

Denmark since February 1, canceled all the limitations introduced due to the coronavirus pandemic, reports the newspaper Kommersant.

According to information, night clubs and restaurants will open in the country, and we need to wear masks only when visiting hospitals.

It is noted that the authorities have taken such a decision due to a high level of vaccination – more than 60% of the Danes have already made the third dose of vaccinations, while less than 45% of the inhabitants have passed the revaccination in the EU, AFP reports.

about 40-50 thousand new cases of COVID-19 are registered daily in Denmark, which is less than 1% of the country’s total population (5.8 million). According to local health authorities, 80% of the population of Denmark is protected from severe forms of coronavirus disease. Several restrictions still act on the country’s borders for unmet travelers arriving from countries that are not part of the Schengen region clarifies AFP.
