The judicial investigation into the criminal case of the former director of the public legal entity “Yeni Clinic” Parviz Abbasova and other accused.
According to Haqqin.az, during the court hearing in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, chaired by the Afghan Judge, the accused Vusal Aliyev made the next word. Having said that she has two minor children and that she is currently pregnant, Valiyev asked the court to appoint her conditional punishment: “Azez Huseynov and Galib Nadzafov said that for each patient I will pay interest. And I agreed because of financial difficulties. I partially recognize myself guilty. Once again I apologize to the court for the deed. “
The sentence was then read, according to which P. Abbasov was sentenced to 8 years 6 months of imprisonment.
Other criminal case accused – Galib Nadzafov, who worked as a radiologist in the clinic “Buta”, Avaz Huseynov, Veterinarian of the Institute of Food Security, and Samir Mirzoev sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment each. The defendant Valiyev also received a conditional punishment with a trial period of 2 years.
In the verdict, it is also noted that V. Alieva will not be able to occupy posts in state bodies for two years, other accused – for three years.
Recall, in the course of the investigative activities carried out by the General Prosecutor’s Office, it became known that P.Abbasov, with the mediation of Tazhfova, V.Aliyev, A.Guseynova and S. Mirzoyeva received from various persons infected with COVID-19, Cash in the amount of 3000-4500 manat for everyone in exchange for the premises of them at the then defendant medical institution to provide inpatient treatment. Based on the collected materials, P.Abbasov and others were charged under articles 311.3.2 (re-obtaining bribes) and 32.5, 311.3.2 (promoting the re-obtaining bribe) of the Criminal Code.
