The detained ex-president of Moldova Igor Dodon transmitted a message through lawyers, saying that he could give explanations for each element of the criminal case that will remove all suspicions of him, reports RIA Novosti.
Recall that earlier the head of the press service of the Prosecutor General Marianna Kerpek said that in the Dodon house, employees of the anti-corruption prosecutor’s office and information and security service conducted searches, as a result of which he was detained for 72 hours. He is suspected of passive corruption, illegal enrichment, financing of the party at the expense of criminal organization and betrayal of the homeland.
