Due to anti-Russian sanctions in Estonian port, dangerous mineral fertilizers stuck

Due to anti -Russian sanctions in the port of Muuga, 80,000 tons of fertilizers were stuck in the northern part of Estonia, 12,000 of which are explosive ammonium nitrate, ERR reports with reference to Postimees.

As the publication notes, the sanctions are both the owner of the terminal in Muuga – the company DBT and the owner of the fertilizer – the Russian chemical company Akron. Two weeks ago, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance and responsible departments discussed the topic of fertilizer stuck in Muuga, but there is still no decision regarding how to remove the load from the port.

Since DBT and Akron are under sanctions, their activities are limited both in Estonia and in other European countries, and there is no reason to believe that because of several tens of tons of fertilizers, someone will revise in Estonia imposed sanctions against Russia, writes the publication.
