Due to flood in Libya, more than 30 thousand people left their homes

As a result of severe floods in the east of Libya, more than 30 thousand people were forced to leave their homes.

Such data are given by the Libyan Representation of the International Migration Organization (MOM).

According to the agency, at least 30 thousand people were forced to leave the most affected by the elements of the sod, and another thousand – other areas, including Benghazi and Al -Mechili.

It is noted that due to destroyed roads to sod, it is difficult to deliver humanitarian help.

Daniel Cyclone fell to the north-east of Libya on September 10 and brought a stormy wind and strong rains with thunderstorms located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

The heavy rains caused serious damage to the infrastructure, many residential buildings, hospitals and other civilian facilities are flooded. Operations on evacuation and searching for missing are continuing.
